Bank Service Disruptions in September
The largest banks regularly perform maintenance on their online systems to increase security and improve the user experience. While these maintenance-related outages are minor inconveniences aimed at ultimately providing more convenient banking, it is still useful to know when we might encounter service disruptions. Here is what customers of MBH Bank, K&H Bank, and Erste Bank can expect in September.
Outages at MBH Bank
- On September 5th, between 4:00 AM and 11:00 AM
Due to planned maintenance, the MBH Netbank (formerly BB) service will be available with reduced functionality. During this time, functions related to securities will be suspended. - From September 28th, 10:00 PM until September 29th, 3:59 AM
Due to planned maintenance during this period, the MBH Bank App’s 101 banking identifier profile and the services of MBH Netbank (formerly BB) will be temporarily unavailable or available in a reduced mode. During the maintenance, it will not be possible to initiate transactions or give approvals via the app in netbank or the mobile application. However, the approval of internet card purchases will continue to work; during this period, they can be approved with a confirmation code sent via SMS.
Outages at Erste Bank
- From September 18th, 10:00 PM until September 19th, 10:00 AM
Due to planned maintenance at Erste Bank, the George App and Web, initiating and receiving instant transfers (the latter only between 00:00 – 04:00 on 2026.09.19), internet shopping (only between 22:00 on 18.09. and 10:00 on 19.09.), Erste TeleBank, Corporate NetBank, Electra, Erste Business MobilBank, SMS services, the API channel, online product applications, and the online declaration interface for housing savings fund payments will not be available.
Outages at K&H Bank
- From September 5th, 10:00 PM until September 6th, 6:00 AM
Due to planned maintenance, we may experience temporary interruptions or slowdowns in the K&H e-bank, K&H mobile bank, K&H e-portfolio, K&H e-mail, K&H Electra services and the financial, supplementary financial, investment and supplementary services available on them, as well as on the kh.hu website and its subpages.
